BMP Consultation & Compliance

Best Management Practices (BMP) enhance the planning and management of forestry activities. These practices were originally established in response to the Clean Water Act and require planning and management of forestry activities that are focused on ways to protect water quality. In many states, these standards were established as voluntary, they are now viewed as the minimum standards required to protect water bodies, wetlands, natural resources and wildlife habitat during any forestry activities. King Forestry is experienced in, and habitually practices Best Management Practices, and is available to provide consultative information regarding and BMP standards during any and all of its forestry activities. King Forestry also provides expertise in silvicultural BMP compliance.
