President

Charles King is a Professional Forester with a B.S.F. in Forest Resource Management from West Virginia University. He is a Registered Forester in both Georgia and Alabama and also carries the Certified Forester designation by the Society of American Foresters. Charles is also licensed by the State of Florida as a Florida Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate. His employment history includes 23 years of experience with large timberland/wood manufacturing corporations which have holdings in both the U.S. and abroad.

In 1996, Charles founded King Forestry, Inc. Throughout his career, he has been involved in timber and timberland procurement as well as forest management with responsibilities to include timber and forestland appraisals, design and implementation of timber cruising, timber appraisal, return on investment analysis, growth projections, custom investment analysis, and land acquisition as well as extensive experience with “hands-on” field forestry activities. He is a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters of America and has served as the Florida A.C.F. Chapter Secretary and as the Florida A.C.F. Chapter Chair. Charles is also a member of the Society of American Foresters and the Florida Forestry Association.
