Wildfire Suppression & Mitigation

King Forestry can perform wildfire risk assessments to identify areas of concern and implement mitigation plans to prioritize and address issues pertaining to wildfire risks through a variety of services including clearing a buffer by mowing understory vegetation, thinning trees and ensuring an adequate water supply.

Wildfire mitigation planning protects people and structures where they adjoin natural areas. This does not eliminate the risk of a wildfire occurring; however, proper planning is designed to make a wildfire easier to manage when it does occur. Such planned management will lay out infrastructure to allow for a more effective wildfire response as well as modify the structure of wildfire fuels.
